OUR JOURNEY

Vi är hemma och nästan helt återhämtade från resan. Både jag och Nova blev sjuka dag tre, feber, host och så mycket snor. Vi tog oss igenom det dock, vi var ändå rätt pigga och feberfria under dagarna! Jag var sjuk i 7 dagar och Nova har fortfarande en ganska otäck hosta, men det är allt, glad och frisk i övrigt. Resan hem var lite jobbigare än resan dit dock, men bara för att Nova var så otroligt övertrött och överstimulerad, jag stod upp i 5 h för att hon skulle kunna sova i selen. Skulle fortfarande göra om det, för förutom det var hon otrolig. Jag skulle inte klarat av det själv dock. Jag är så glad att min pappa och min bror var med och kunde avlasta mig lite då och då.

We´re home and we´ve almost recovered from the tripp. Both me and Nova got sick in the third day, fever, a cough and so much snot. We made it trough though, we were still pretty alert and fever free during the days! I had a total of 7 sick days and Nova still has a pretty bad cough, but that´s it, happy and healthy except from that. The trip home was harder than the trip there though, but only because Nova was so over tired and overstimulated, so I stood for 5 hours so she could sleep in my harnest. Would still do it again, because other than that, she was amazing. I would not have done it alone though. I´m so glad my brother and dad were with me and could relieve me from time to time.

Till resan. Jag har varit i Vanvouver 5 gånger nu, varje gång har vädret varit otroligt, soligt och varmt. Denna gång regnade det hela veckan, inte en enda dag utan paraply. Vi hade det fortfarande en otrolig resa. Fantastisk mat och massa annat. Tog med pappa och Filip på de bästa attraktionerna tillgängliga med det väder vi hade. Vi åkte upp i Top of Vancouver och hade sån tur, molnen var så låga och dimman så tjock att vi inte såg bergen runt stan en enda gång på hela resan, men den försvann i 30 minuter när vi var uppe i Top of Vancouver, så vi kunde i alla fall se hela staden. Väldigt häftigt.

To the tripp. Ive been to Vancouver 5 times now, every time the weather have been amazing, sunny and warm. This time it rained the whole week, not one day without umbrella. We still had an amazing time. Amazing food and a lot of other stuff. Took my dad and Filip on the best attractions available in the weather we had. Went up in Top of Vancouver and were so lucky, the clouds were so low and the fog so thick that we didn´t see the mountains not once during our entire stay, but for the first 30 minutes in top of Vancouver the fog disappeared for a while so we at least could se the entire city. So cool.

Vi var på två matcher och båda två gick jättebra. Eller.. Nova blev trött i mitten av båda så vi såg en del av matchen från familjerummet, men det gick det också! Alla var så snälla och lättsamma, vi hade en fantastisk upplevelse på Novas första NHL-match.

We went to 2 games and both were great. Or, Nova became tired in the middle of both of them so we went down to the family room for a bit and watched from there, and that worked too. Everyone was so kind and easy, we had a great experience on Novas first NHL game.

Och så till det viktigaste, och anledningen till att vi åkte till Vancouver över huve taget. Nova träffade Elias för första gången, känslosamt. Längtar redan tills nästa gång, eller tills Elias kommer hem så vi kan spendera ännu mer tid med tillsammans.

And to the main event, and why we went to Vancouver from the start. Nova met Elias for the first time, emotional. Can´t wait to go back, or for Elias to come home so we can spend even more time together.
